1. Value of BQA Accreditation

Being accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) positions us as a credible, compliant, and recognised training provider in Botswana. This accreditation comes with several key advantages:

Programme Endorsement

Training programs approved by BQA are aligned with the National Credit and Qualifications Framework (NCQF), ensuring they meet quality assurance standards. We however strive to set new benchmarks in the industry pushing forward innovation and improve the quality of education we nurture to our students.

HRDC Levy Reclaim Eligibility

Only training received from BQA-accredited providers qualifies for HRDC levy claims—this is one of the most tangible benefits for clients.

Quality Assurance

Clients gain confidence knowing the training is quality-assured, outcomes-based, and nationally recognised.

Staff Development ROI:

Accredited training improves employee skills and operational performance

while allowing companies to recoup their training investment via the levy refund.

2. HRDC Training Levy Reclaim Process

The Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) allows levy-paying organisations to reclaim a percentage of their annual training expenditure if it is spent on eligible programs delivered by BQA-accredited providers.

Here’s how it works:

Who Qualifies?
Any company registered and contributing to the HRDC training levy (usually 0.2% of their turnover)

is eligible to claim.

What Can Be Claimed?
Up to 50% –100% of training costs, depending on the nature and category of training.

Claims can be made for:

Skills development training

Technical and vocational programmes

Management and soft skills

Refresher and compliance training

Transportation of staff to training center

On-site or off-site delivery (as long as it’s BQA-accredited)

Claim Process:
Pre-approval Application: Submit a Training Grant Application Form to HRDC before the training takes place, including details of the training provider (us), programme content, and expected cost.

Training Delivery

Training is delivered by us as a BQA-accredited provider.

Claim Submission

After training completion, the client submits a claim form with supporting documents (invoice, attendance registers, evaluation forms, etc.)

Refund Disbursement

HRDC processes and pays the approved refund amount back to the client.

Summary of Advantage
Our BQA accreditation enables our clients to invest confidently in staff development, knowing they will:

Receive high-quality, compliant training,

Be eligible to claim back a substantial portion of their costs,

and Align with national HR development goals.

This accreditation not only supports operational excellence for our clients but also ensures we continue to grow as a trusted and sustainable provider in the region.
